Schull is located in west Cork and you can get there by air, road or sea.

By air: the nearest airport is Cork International from many operators fly to all parts of the UK. If arriving by air and needing a taxi, it will take about 90 minutes. There is car hire at the airport.

By road: If coming from mainland UK, you can bring your car to any of the Irish ports but the most common routes are via the Swansea/Cork ferry which drops you at Ringaskiddy on the outskirts of Cork. It is then an hour and a half's drive to Schull.

If bringing your car on the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare, you will have a drive of about four and half hours, but the sea crossing is much shorter.

By sea: the most convenient ferry runs from Swansea to Cork and requires an overnight crossing. You should check the timetable and book early. Rates are much reduced out of season.

There is car parking space in the road which runs outside the Old Dispensary.
